5T is the newest generation of smartphone and tablets.
The latest generation of these devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor, which boasts of faster performance, faster battery life, and an improved design than the Snapdragon 635 that powered previous generations of the mobile device.
The Snapdragon 811 processor is paired with a 2.5GHz quad-core processor that supports Adreno 530 graphics, a new Adreno 510 GPU that supports up to 2GB of RAM, and a 1.5MP front-facing camera.
However, the Snapdragon 815 and 817 are the new flagship phones from Qualcomm, the new phones feature a larger 6.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and the Snapdragon 820 processor, paired with an Adreno 430 GPU, supports up 2GB RAM.
That’s pretty impressive, especially considering that Qualcomm also launched a 6.1-inch 5T model, which features the Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB memory, and 2GB storage.
However to get this new generation of phones, you’ll need to go with the 5T device, which comes with an 8-inch display with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution.
5T phones are still available on the Chinese market, but only in the more expensive version of the 6T, which costs around $700.
That device comes with a Snapdragon 835 chip, 2.0GHz quad core processor, Adreno 520 GPU, 1.2MP front camera, and supports up 4GB of storage.
For $600, you can get a 5T phone with a 1GHz quad chip, 1GB RAM, 2Gb of storage, and 16GB of onboard storage.
That phone costs $700 in the US, so we’d suggest you check out the 5C, 6C, and 6S for even more bang for your buck.
